Despite only entering the Philippines last June 2 with the T10 and T50, French mobile brand Wiko made a splash at the Lazada 6.6 sale, as it was able to be part of the top 5 best-selling brands for mobiles and tablets. That’s quite a feat, as the 6.6 sale happened only four days after Wiko’s official entry to the Philippines.
In its press release, Wiko claimed that it managed to sell its first 2000 units within one day, which is a big leap for the brand as it tries to take a market share dominated by major tech brands like realme and Xiaomi. Following an impressive sales performance at the Lazada 6.6 sale, we look forward to what Wiko has in store for the upcoming 7.7 sale.
Currently, Wiko has the T50, T10, and T3 as part of its current offerings in the Philippines. The T10 is an affordable, under Php 5k offering that comes with a USB-C port, 6.5-inch HD+ display, and 64GB RAM. The T3, on the other hand, offers a large 128GB internal storage and a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 48-megapixel main camera, 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and 2-megapixel depth sensor for Php 7.5k.
The T50 is Wiko’s halo product, boasting of a 6.6-inch Full HD+ IPS display with a punch-hole for the 16-megapixel selfie snapper and one of the thinnest bezels you can find on a Php 12k smartphone.
