Ford Philippines has confirmed the arrival of the all-new F-150 in the Philippines. Fans of the Ford F-150 would be thrilled to know that the new model for 2021 is coming in with a diesel engine.

Pick-up trucks have a cult following in the country. There are no reasons for Ford Philippines not to bring in the new F-150. In fact, the Philippines has become the leading contributor in total Ranger Raptor sales across ASEAN markets with a total of 64 percent share and across Ford’s International Markets Group with a 37 percent market share over the past two years.

However, pickup trucks with diesel engines are more preferred in the Philippines. This is why Ford Philippines has decided to bring in the all-new model with a 3.0-liter Power Stroke diesel. Said engine packs 250 horsepower at 3,250 rpm and 595 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm and is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Fans of the F-150 model would also be happy to know that the Lariat trim is available on the new model. The Lariat model features LED lighting, 18-inch wheels with 275/65R18 tires, ventilated and heated leather seats, power sliding rear window, ambient lighting, and a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system. If those are not enough, the model can still be optioned with 20-inch wheels, power moon roof, power tailgate, and an 8-speaker Bang and Olufsen sound system for a completely packaged F-150 model.

The all-new Ford F-150 features a fully boxed high-strength steel frame with a high-strength, military-grade, aluminum alloy body. More importantly, Ford has given the all-new model a redesign. It is now the most aerodynamic F-150 ever using active grille shutters, an automatically deploying active air dam, and improved cab and tailgate geometry to further reduce drag.

“We are very excited to enable this section of our website to keep our customers up to speed and excited with what Ford vehicles they can expect to be launched in the future. We invite our customers to stay tuned on our website or visit a Ford dealer for more updates about upcoming Ford vehicles,” says Ford Philippines Marketing Director Patrick Manigbas.

Ford Philippines will reveal more details about the diesel 2021 Ford F-150 soon, including the pricing.
