Nothing has been hyping up the Phone (1) ahead of its official launch in July 12, and after several cheeky teasers, they have revealed the official design. Nothing describes the design of the Phone (1) as “Designed with intention. Full of warmth. And joy.”
Like the Ear (1) that features a translucent design, the Phone (1) appears to implement the same approach, where you can see the charging coil. There are lines throughout the back panel gems, which are said to be notification lights. You also get a dual rear camera setup that we presume comprises of a main camera and ultra-wide-angle camera, along with subtle Nothing branding at the bottom.
Looking more at its overall look, the Phone (1) appears to have flat edges, with the volume controls on the left side and the power button on the right side.
Expected specs of the Phone (1) include a 6.55-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and uniform bezels, at least 8GB RAM, at least 128GB storage, and up to 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates. Recent reports also indicate that it will use a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and will come with 45w wired charging, which means that the Phone (1) will most likely be a premium mid-range device.
