OPPO updates its Reno series in China with the unveiling of the Reno8 series. The Reno8 Pro is particularly special, as it debuts Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. All three models come with AMOLED displays, 4500mAh batteries with 80w wired charging, and ColorOS 12 out of the box.
The Reno8 Pro+ gets a Dimensity 8100-Max processor and uses an IMX766 main camera with OPPO’s Marisilicon X NPU. You get a 6.7-inch 120hz AMOLED display on the Reno8 Pro+, along with a 32-megapixel selfie shooter with autofocus.
The Reno8 Pro uses a Snapdragon 7 Gen 12 processor, and shares the same rear camera setup and MariSilicon X NPU as the Pro+. The display is a smidge smaller at 6.62 inches and still has a 120hz refresh rate, and while it has the same 32-megapixel camera, it does not have autofocus.
Rounding up the lineup is the vanilla Reno8, which uses a Dimensity 1300 processor and uses a familiar 6.43-inch 90hz AMOLED display (OPPO has been using this panel since the Reno4). The rear camera setup is simplified, as you get a 50-megapixel main camera and a pair of 2-megapixel cameras.

The Reno8 starts at CNY 2499(~Php 19.7k) for the 8GB/128GB model, while the Reno8 Pro starts at CNY 2999(~Php 23.6k) for the same variant. The Reno8 Pro+, on the other hand, starts at CNY 3699(~Php 29.1k) for the 8GB/256GB variant. The Pro and Pro+ go on sale on June 11, while the vanilla Reno8 will go on sale on June 1. There’s no word yet on global availability as of this writing.
