After teasing it for a week, realme unveiled the GT 2 Explorer Master in China with three variants–one of them being a travel trunk version that’s designed by fashion designer Jae-Jung.

Aside from being powered by the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, realme touts that the GT 2 Explorer Master is the first phone to make use of LPDDR5x RAM–up to 12GB of it. The display is similar to the GT Neo 3 and other top-end realme phones: 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, and 360hz touch sampling. What’s different is the inclusion of an X7 chip, which allows the GT 2 Explorer Master to can artificially extrapolate frames rate from 30fps to 120fps during gaming and from 60fps to 120fps in any other scenario.

The GT 2 Explorer Master’s rear camera setup consists of a 50-megapixel IMX766 main camera, 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera, while selfies are taken care of by a 16-megapixel shooter that’s placed on a punch-hole. Keeping the lights on is a 5000mAh battery that supports 100w wired charging.

Aside from the unique travel trunk edition, the GT 2 Explorer Master comes with shoulder keys for gaming. To aid it for gaming, it comes with two vapor chambers for thermal management.
