Good news for those heading to the city of pines, the city government of Baguio is giving free bus rides to tourists with the revival of the Hop On, Hop Off (HoHo) program.

Baguio City is Offering Free Bus Rides for Tourists

With the said program, tourists in the city may visit major attractions for free. However, this is only available for tourists with approved VISITA Quick Response Travel Permits (QTP).  In addition, tourists must park their vehicles at the Baguio Convention & Cultural Center designated parking areas and pay the city-sanctioned parking fees below.

Hop-On Hop-Off Tourist Buses are available every weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) starting July 15, 2022, following the departure schedule below:

The HoHo bus will follow a self-directed tour circuit:

  • First stop: taking off from the Baguio Convention & Cultural Center to the Botanical Garden
  • Second stop: Mansion House
  • Third stop: Mines View Park
  • Fourth stop: Wright Park via Gibraltar Road to decongest traffic
  • Exit: via South Drive to the drop off point at Governor Pack Road where tourists may walk around the central business district as well as visit Burnham Park.

There will be a waiting time of 15 to 20 minutes for each stop but if the tourists want to stay longer, they can catch the next HoHo bus in 30 minutes.
