Infinix has several NOTE 12 variants in its lineup: there’s the vanilla, Helio G96 model, a duo of 5G-ready variants, and a VIP model that features 120w wired charging for under Php 16k. Completing the rather diverse lineup is the NOTE 12 Pro 4G, which is the first phone from Infinix (and the world) to use a Helio G99 processor.
The NOTE 12 Pro 4G has a different rear camera module design, but shares the same camera setup found on its 5G sibling, where the main camera is a 108-megapixel sensor. Almost everything else is the same with the 5G version, with the main difference only being the Helio G99 processor that’s paired with 256GB of internal storage.
To recap, the Helio G99, which is based on the Helio G96 but uses a 6nm process instead of an 12nm process, which should translate to significantly better battery life and power efficiency. The Helio G96’s Cortex-A76 cores are now clocked at 2.2Ghz, which should make it competitive against the Snapdragon 680 that’s commonly used in budget mid-range phones.
