Following a full rebrand that also includes the debut of its own digital bank, Maya continues to update its app to incorporate new features to entice its customers. One of these new features rolling out this June is Personal Goals, which is a savings features under Maya Bank that enables customers to set aside money for specific purposes while being able to earn as much as 6% interest.
Some applications of Personal Goals include saving up for a new gadget, for emergency funds, and for traveling.
Users can keep up to five Personal goals and set them for up to six months. To maximize this new feature, customers with Maya savings will be automatically upgraded to Maya Power Users, allowing them to cash in up to Php 500,000 to their Maya Wallet and transfer them to their Maya Savings account.
Aside from Personal Goals and increased transaction limits, Maya also updates its crypto interface to accept more coins–users can now buy Algorand, Ape Coin, Doge Coin, Stellar, and Avalanche through the Maya App.
Aside from these updates, Maya also hinted at additional updates on the app in the coming months, which include plans for adding a native Dark Mode for the app to go in line with its full UI overhaul.
