It has been close to two years since the Razr 5G, and it seems like Motorola is ready to launch the Razr 3 this year. Aside from the leaked specs, the European price has leaked–and if true, Motorola might have a winner in the Razr 3.
Before we get into the price, let’s talk about the rumored specs: unlike previous Razr phones that settled for mid-range Snapdragon 7 series processors, the Razr 3 will reportedly use a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, placing the foldable in flagship territory despite the processor being a generation old.
It will also have more RAM and storage to boot, with options for up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage, and its foldable 6.7-inch AMOLED screen is getting a 120hz refresh rate and a punch hole instead of a notch. The outer display will be reportedly larger a 3-inches.
As for the juicy part, a new report states that the European price of the Razr 3 will be 1,149 Euros(~Php 64.8k), making it significantly more affordable than the Razr 5G’s Php 72,990 SRP in the Philippines. The price difference is significant, as the Razr 3 will use a flagship Snapdragon 8-series processor.
Considering that European pricing is usually higher, we will not be surprised if Motorola manages to price the Razr 3 at under Php 60k in hopes of having a better chance of competing against the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip4.
