In a sea of phones that have non-removable batteries, Samsung announced a unicorn of a phone with the rugged Galaxy XCover6 Pro. What makes this phone special is that it has a removable 4050mAh battery AND a very capable Snapdragon 778G processor. That makes the Galaxy XCover6 Pro the most powerful phone you can buy that has an actual removable battery–even more powerful than the original Galaxy XCover Pro back in 2020.
Despite that very unique feature (at least for 2022 standards), the Galaxy XCover6 Pro has an IP68 rating and is MIL-810H compliant, meaning that it can take a real beating and still work fine. The catch to this is that it’s one hefty boi, as it weighs 235 grams.
As a mid-range phone, the Galaxy XCover6 Pro comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage (that is expandable), a 6.6-inch Full HD+ PLS display with a 120hz refresh rate and a notch for the 13-megapixel selfie snapper, a dual rear camera setup that consists of a 50-megapixel main snapper and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and support for 15w charging.
