A lot of vivo devices are making their way to our shores, and they’re all interesting enough to be excited about. Two of the hottest releases coming to the Philippines are named the vivo T series, both targeting to become the best in their segment. Here are more details for you to get a better look.

We’ve had our hands on the vivo T1 5G, and we can say with certainty that it’s a midrange gaming killer. It comes with a bright, vivid 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling.
Processing performance is also a breeze due to the pairing of the critically-acclaimed Snapdragon 778G processor and 8GB of RAM for multitasking. Its rear main camera sports a 64-megapixel resolution supported by an 8-megapixel ultrawide and 2-megapixel macro lens. The images taken with this setup are crisp and clear, which you will be able to see in our full review coming up soon.
This package is all wrapped in a 3D plastic construction that feels metallic and premium to the touch – partially because it is wrapped in a special nanocoating. 66W fast charging tops up the 4,700 mAh battery in no time, while device security is held down by an in-display fingerprint scanner.
vivo T1x
Specs
- Snapdragon 680 processor
- 4GB/6GB RAM
- 64GB/128GB internal storage
- 6.58-inch Full HD+ IPS display
- 50-megapixel f/1.8 main camera with PDAF, 2-megapixel f/2.2 depth sensor, 2-megapixel f/2.4 macro camera
- 8-megapixel f/2.0 selfie camera
- 4G
- WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1, side-mounted fingerprint scanner
- 5000mAh battery
- 18w fast charging
- Android 12, FunTouchOS
The vivo T1x is the more budget-conscious option of the two. It’s packing an entry-level but effective Snapdragon 680 with options for 4 or 6GB of RAM which is extendable via some software magic. Screen size is rated at 6.58-inches and still bears the Full HD+ resolution, albeit in an IPS panel this time.
At the rear is the 50-megapixel main camera with 2-megapixel depth and macro cameras in support roles, while the side shelters the fingerprint scanner. Some people prefer the general reliability of a physical scanner over the quirkiness of an in-display variant.
This should get splendid battery life as it comes with a chunky 5,000 mAh battery while carrying a more energy-efficient processor. If the battery does reach 0, 18W fast charging is available to nurse it back to full health.
