ASUS has officially unveiled its 2022 line of Intel 12th-gen powered ZenBooks, and leading the pack is the ZenBook Pro 16X OLED. As the brand’s top-end consumer laptop, the ZenBook Pro 16X OLED has two unique features: an AAS Ultra design that tilts the keyboard by 7 degrees when opened, and a physical rotary controller that allows for precise control of adjustments and settings with creative apps like Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom Classis, After Effects, and Illustrator.
The AAS Ultra design allows for up to 30% more airflow and reduces temperatures by as much as 7 degrees Celsius, which is needed for what the ZenBook Pro 16X OLED packs inside: up to a Core i9-12900H Processor, RTX 3060 GPU with up to 140w TDP, and a 16-inch 4K HDR OLED display with 100% DCI-P3 coverage and DisplayHDR500. Configuration options include up to 32GB DDR5 RAM and up to 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. A 96wHr battery keeps the lights running on the ZenBook Pro 16X OLED.
Other features include a Full HD webcam, 6 speaker system, four microphones, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, SD Express card slot, HDMI 2.1, NumberPad, and a per-key RGBW keyboard.
ASUS has yet to reveal local pricing and availability of the ZenBook Pro 16X OLED.
