Continuing to find ways to make its platform unique, TikTok further expands its offerings by introducing Shop, its own online marketplace. With this feature, users can now embed links to purchasable products via short videos, live streams, and on the TikTok Product Showcase tab. This unique approach allows people.
Prior to this, realme was the first brand to venture on TikTok’s live shopping feature during the first sales of the C35. Aside from electronics, users can purchase items from different categories like fashion, home and living, beauty, and personal care.
Aside from being accessible within the TikTok app, those using the Shop platform can enjoy zero commission fees for selected products, along with a payment service fee cap of 1% across payment service centers.
To promote the feature, TikTok held a mid-year sale from June 15 to 21, where users can get up to 70% in discounts, along with subsidized shipping and various coupons for first-time buyers. Shipping vouchers were up to Php 150 off with Php 10 minimum spend for Luzon-based shipments, and Php 50 minimum spend for shipments outside Luzon.
Personalities like actress Glaiza De Castro, TV Host Macoy Dubs, and content creator Alfea participated in TikTok’s maiden sale, with Alfea doing key live sessions and short video posts via TikTok Shop.
Businesses who are interested to explore TikTok Shop can check the Merchant Page or sign up for a Seller account.
