Another smartphone brand is reportedly coming to the Philippines with French brand Wiko. We got an invite to their event on June 2, with the invite showing the T3, which will be the debut Wiko phone in the Philippines.
To those not familiar, Wiko is a French company founded in 2011, and is under Tinno Mobile.
Further research about the Wiko T3 reveals that it is an entry-level device that is powered by a Helio P35 processor, and is paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
The Wiko T3 appears to be a good entry-level offering in the Philippines wirh features like a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a notch for an 8-megapixel selfie snapper, triple rear camera setup (48-megapixel main, 5-megapixel ultra-wide, and 2-megapixel depth sensor), and a 5000mAh battery.
The T3 was initially launched in Africa and the UAE late last year for $177(~Php 9.3k). However, a LazMall listing reveals that the T3 will have a promo price of Php 7,499 and an official SRP of Php 8,999. The said listing includes freebies for very purchase, which consists of a Smart SIM, a wired headset, and a selfie stick.
