The government has been looking for ways on how to speed up vaccination in the country. Recently, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) partnered with Grab Philippines to accelerate vaccination efforts in the country.

DOTr Secretary Art Tugade said, “We need to continuously work together to accelerate vaccination efforts in our communities, most especially our stakeholders in the transport sector. We are working for them to gain necessary access, information, and means to get vaccinated so that together, as one strong transport community, we can help win the fight against COVID.”

So, just how can the collaboration between DOTr, LTFRB, and Grab help the Philippines in its fight against the surging covid-19 virus? The answer is a simple reward-based promotion. The government agencies will take advantage of Grab’s platform, technology, and network to accelerate vaccination efforts in the country.

As a result, there is now more reason to get vaccinated. In fact, individuals who wish to be vaccinated against COVID-19 are in for a treat from Grab Philippines. Grab Philippines is offering various incentives to encourage everyone to get the vaccine.

DOTR and LTFRB Team Up With Grab To Boost Vaccination Drive

Individuals who will submit their vaccination cards to Grab will be given promo vouchers with a chance to win up to P250,0000 in their GrabPay accounts. Meanwhile, Grab drivers and delivery partners will be given special raffle prizes, rewards, COVID vaccination insurance, as well as vaccination education to encourage them to get inoculated. Lastly, Grab will give discounted rides for individuals going to and from various vaccination sites.

Moreover, DOTr, LTFRB, and Grab Philippines are looking to launch vaccination hubs across the country. Grab Philippines will provide the vaccination hubs accompanied by DOH-accredited medical personnel to administer vaccine doses. All the vaccines procured by Grab Philippines will be allocated in the said mobile vaccination hubs.
