Just yesterday, we have reported the details of the 2021 Isuzu MU-X. If you want to know what’s in store for the new MU-X model, you may read it here. Now, it seems that a new generation midsize SUV is coming yet again to compete for its place in the market. Nissan Philippines has just released teasers on the upcoming improved and refreshed 2022 Nissan Terra.

Nissan Philippines Is Bringing in the 2022 Terra

The Japanese automaker has launched teasers on their social media pages and website of a new release with the caption, “The next generation of the popular family SUV is coming.” With this line, we can safely assume that this refers to the Nissan Terra.

Though the company hasn’t released any details yet, including the model, we are looking at the X-Terra, which was also launched early this year in the Middle East for reference. If we are to expect something similar to the X-Terra, we can expect an overall more luxurious yet aggressive Terra with especially edgier features at its front and rear.

Now, both the Nissan Terra and Terra VL only come with one engine, which is a 2.5-liter turbo diesel engine capable of producing 187Hp and up to 450Nm of torque and is paired to a seven-speed automatic transmission. As for the new refreshed Terra coming soon, we have no choice but to wait for more details.

First launched in 2018, the Nissan Terra has been successful in the local market. In the report of Nissan Philippines last year, the Nissan Terra accounted for 17.9% of the company’s total sales, which probably played a huge role in the minor refresh the Terra underwent early this year with the Terra VL.

It is safe to say that this incoming refreshed Terra, though, will have carry the biggest changes since its launch back in 2018.

If you are looking to test drive the new 2022 Nissan Terra, you may do so by reserving a slot on Nissan Philippines’ website.
